1. Our Commitment

EarthBasic is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. As a ministry dedicated to providing the true food of God's Word to all people, we believe that access to biblical teaching should not be hindered by barriers in web design.

We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to achieve these goals.

2. Conformance Standards

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.

3. Accessibility Measures

To ensure accessibility, EarthBasic has taken the following measures:

• Included accessibility as a core requirement in our website design and development process.
• Used semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy (h1-h6).
• Provided text alternatives for images (alt text).
• Ensured keyboard navigability for all interactive elements.
• Maintained color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
• Included visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation.
• Used ARIA labels and roles where appropriate for screen reader compatibility.
• Respected prefers-reduced-motion to disable animations for users with motion sensitivity.
• Provided a responsive design that works across devices and zoom levels.
• Ensured forms have visible labels, helper text, and clear error messages.

4. Compatibility

This site is designed to be compatible with:

• Modern web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with assistive technologies enabled.
• Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
• Screen magnification software.
• Speech recognition tools.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. We are actively working to identify and remediate these areas:

• Some older PDF resources in the Be-Held Archive may not be fully tagged for screen reader access — we are working to update these.
• Third-party embedded content (where applicable) may not fully conform — we select accessible partners whenever possible.
